Nairn (Central) beach is situated on the Moray Firth, next to the town of Nairn, in the Highland region. It is a shallow bay, about 1 km long. The mouth of the River Nairn separates this beach from Nairn (East) beach. This beach area borders the town’s leisure area. Nairn is a popular seaside resort, with a large caravan park located on the beachfront. As well as families, the beach is also popular with a variety of water sports enthusiasts, including sailors, windsurfers and kite surfers.
Water quality is classified as "Good" based on samples taken from the previous 4 years, 2021 through to 2024.
