Monknash Beach

South Glamorgan, Wales

Monknash Beach (or Cwm Nash) is a rocky beach on the Glamorgan Heritage Coast. At low tide, a stretch of sand is exposed, while high tide covers much of the beach. It is known for its limestone cliffs, rock pools, and fossil-rich shoreline. The beach is accessed via a footpath through woodland and fields from the village of Monknash. Strong currents and submerged rocks make swimming hazardous.
